Any recommendations? I have a couple and have a couple of normal shirts which work, but for some reason I assumed that my maternity shirts would work.... which they don't.
I think I've seen brand recommendations here before but can't remember what they were. TIA!
Re: Nursing tops
Undercover Mama tanks. All the way.
I bought a few "nursing" t-shirts at Motherhood (the kind with a false top inside the front of the shirt so theoretically you can just pull down) but they stink.
I continue to wear Bravada tanks I got at BRC and Motherhood tanks I got at Macy's.
So far I have 4 nursing tanks from Motherhood. Some of my maternity tanks are stretchy enough, too.
I am going to have to invest in a decent nursing bra or two at some point. The tanks with nursing pads are not very discreet. I think I will need to go and getting measured, first. I have no clue what size I am anymore.
I've heard great things about Bravado tanks. I think you can get them lots of places online.
I'd pay a lot of money for someone to design nursing pads that aren't lumpy under tanks.
And I could just wear my nursing bra (with cups & underwire) to work but it's a PITA trying to pump with it because the flaps don't fold all the way down like a nursing tank.

Lilypadz (large sized for me) do not show at ALL under anything and prevent all leaking. They aren't cheap but they last for a few months
Also I heard that most norstroms will change any bra into a nursing bra for only $10! I haven't tried that yet but I want to. I haven't found nursing bras that I like.
Finally if you find a cheap spaghetti strap tank and cut the strap at the back and make a small loop in the front at the strap (you can hand sew it if you don't have a machine) you have a really cheap undercover mama. I bought tanks at Old Navy for $3.50 and made them in about 2 minutes each with a machine.they work great!
ETA just found this http://thejensonjaunts.blogspot.ca/2011/07/thrifty-fun-diy-make-your-own-nursing.html?m=1 (can't figure out how to make it clicky on my mac sorry)
