Any PowerPoint gurus?

I am working on a presentation for Europe - I need to submit to our printer there, a presentation in A4 size.

I know how to do it in Word. Is it possible in PPT or should I be submitting this as a PDF and try to figure out how to submit a PDF in A4 format?

Re: Any PowerPoint gurus?

  • Would it be better to design it in publisher with an A4 paper size and then save and send as a PDF?

I am not good at these things, but Publisher is my go-to when I want to design something instead of just create a document.

  • PowerPoint 2010:

Design - Page Setup - Slides sized for (drop down menu).  From there you can select A4 paper.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • Change the master slide. You can change the margins and other things like that from there as well.

There it is! Thank you!!! (We've had PP2010 for a few months now, but I'm still feeling my way around it!)

And thank you, too, Bonnie and Dena, for chiming in!

  • Glad it worked!  I've had to adapt presentations to show on our widescreen monitors and that's how I do it.  And yes, the 2010 version was not easy for me to adapt to. Too big of a learning curve for a program I've been using for years!

I hear you! On top of that, I just got Vizio and the whole company went back to Outlook - I haven't had the time to take formal classes on any of it, so it's a lot of trial and error, baptism by fire here!

    Thanks again!
