My sweet little guy
Chase and I had our first appointment with a dr to discuss ADHD testing. Its something that I have fought with myself about for 5 years and after exhuasting every other option, this is my last resort. An actual diagnosis and medication. Chase is totally fine with it because he know something is going on with his brain that he cant control.
Anyway, he goes in and does his one on one with the dr and the dr asks him, "If you were stranded on a deserted island, and could only have 3 things with you, what would the be?" You know what my kids answer was? " my mom, my dad and plane so I could fly us outta there"
Not a tv, or computer, or his friends. His parents. Us. The people he battles with most on a daily basis. He picked us. This makes me a very happy momma.

We just finished up a tall tales genre study today and the kids did a writing piece about their real life heroes. A lot of them picked their moms and dads. It was adorable!
