Since it is so quiet... AW
EJ's teachers taught her to tie her shoes! And she is getting pretty good at it. I was both surprised and proud. And happy to have bought her tie shoes too!
Please AW something in your life/family
Re: Since it is so quiet... AW
Good for her! Noah still isn't great at it.
My AW is that Noah tested in to the gifted program, and his first day of going to the gifted class was yesterday. I am so proud of him, and I really think he's going to excel.
AW-Nathan had an interview at another district, the job is better hours, pay and closer to where I want to move!
1) My baby girl is officially 18 months today! I can't believe how big she's getting and everything she's doing.
2) She started at a new daycare this week and is doing FANTASTIC. She is upset when DH drops her off, but they've said after 5 minutes she is fine. They've all commented on what an incredibly helpful little girl she is - she picks up toys that the babies drop and gives them back, hands the teachers things, etc. Total proud mama moment hearing them say what a joy she is!
3) DH and I have not one but TWO dates this weekend and I can't wait!
So awesome! I hope it leads to an offer!! Fingers crossed
Way to go Noah! I bet he will love it!
Enjoy yourselves!!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for him!
Aw, go EJ!
Awesome, ladies!
I got nothing other than I didn't spaz on someone who wasted 2 hrs of my time trying to track down a document I needed (and she had the whole time - just didn't want to give it to me).
Yay me!
My three sons!
I don't have much to AW either! My kids were in a biting/screaming/crying kind of mood yesterday and Wes hasn't been sleeping well lately again, so they're not giving me much to brag about.
I'm hoping to AW some house pics soon. I have taken a few but I can't find time to upload them.
Way to go to all the kiddos and DH's!!
1. DH and I also have a date night this weekend, and my parents are even keeping the kids overnight! We are going out to dinner and then to a friend's annual oktoberfest party. Also looking forward to sleeping in on Sunday! Yay!
2. I was promoted today at work. Not much is changing other than my title, so I guess it doesn't really mean anything, but it's nice to be recognized even though I'm totally over what I do. (so I don't know if that really qualified as an AW, ha!)
3. I signed up for my 2nd 5k and am wearing pants I haven't been able to fit over my fat a$$ in 5 years. Holla!
4. The other day I asked Mason if one of his buddies from school was his best friend, and he said "No, he's just my friend, my best friend is Garrett." It truly warmed my heart!
Aww, how nice to hear about all the kiddos, DHs, dates, and work accomplishments. Kudos to all of you.
AW - Gabriel has turned into the most fun, relaxed, good-humored baby. It's quite a relief from his stint as insane-o new born for the first 4 months of his life. He is also sleeping between 10-12 hours at night. HUZZAH!
I love this post, congrats to everyone on new jobs, dates with hubbies and kid accomplishments!
I will also AW our upcoming date....my mom is babysitting for us next Friday night & Brian and I are going to Pitt for the homecoming alumni reception that evening, then going to Heinz Chapel, where they're doing some type of celebration for couples who were married there. Maybe we'll even go crazy & have a drink at Hemingways like the good old days.

Love hearing about all the other kiddos, too! I posted before I read the replies, and then went back and read them. So awesome for all of you!
...nothing to aw, but didn't want to miss out on smiling at all of you!
I had no idea they were doing anything at Heinz Chapel. Although I get absolutely zero alumni info from Pitt eventhough I have 2 degrees from them. We are going to the game next week if my sister makes homecoming court.
it's nothing too exciting, but since our anniversary was 9/23 and we'll be on campus anyway, we'll check it out: https://secure.www.alumniconnections.com/olc/pub/UPT/event/showEventForm.jsp?form_id=132338

Awesome accomplishments ! So great to see good things happening all around!
Lets see -Eamon my 15 mos old finally decided to walk - YAY for mom and her back!! He still does the old cowboy/frankenstein walk but he's doing it!
Caileigh lost another tooth (the front one) and is reading a ton - Charlotte's Web & Magic treehouse books. I swear if I gave her a flashlight she would read under her covers. Its amazing once they start how they pick up words so quickly.
And Keira has now broken out with her own dressing style & hair dos which I love. Dresses with leggings that don't match, blue crocks & a top of the head pony coupled with a head band & feather clip to boot. You go girl! I wish I had a picture!
How time flies! Caileigh (9), Keira (6) & Eamon (3)
