Happy Friday!! What is everyone up to this weekend?
Re: Weekend Plans?
Tonight is the usual take out and DVR catch up. We're also decorating the outside of our house for Fall/Halloween - so that will be something different from our exciting Friday night routine!
Saturday we have 2 b-day parties. I'm taking Mason to one; Rich is taking Garrett to another. Then we are dropping the boys off at my parent's for the night and going out to dinner, then to our friends' annual Oktoberfest party.
Sunday - sleep in!! Rich is going to the game. My parent's are dropping the boys off and will stay to watch the game. Some neighbors might come over as well.
Monday I am off for Columbus Day! I plan to just spend the day with the boys, not sure what we'll do yet.
woohoo, Friday!
Tonight: bday party (I don't have to cook, yay!)
Sat: Jake is supposed to have a tball game in the morning, but the weather looks iffy. Other than that, I want to tackle changing the kids closets over to fall/winter stuff (does anyone else dread this? I hate sorting through the summer things, putting all of the clothes in bins....blah)
Sun: my BFF and her husband will be tailgating for the game, so I'm going to go down to see them in the morning, I'm so excited! then I'll come home & we'll watch the game. nothing else!

TGIF!!
Tonight: DVR with the kids
Saturday: DH might have to work in the first part of the day so, if it's dry, I'll bundle up the kids and take them to the Watson Institute's Touch a Truck in Sewickley. http://www.fovfd.org/ I have to be at work for 3p.
Sunday: late morning we are having photos taken by a friend who started a business; followed by watching the game and cooking something warm and filling!
Monday: I have the holiday off, too, and Gavin's in-service got changed to later in the month, so I'm home alone and plan to tackle the filing so that I can finish up the den. I also want to buy a few more perennial mums from our neighborhood nursery and get those planted.
My three sons!
Tomorrow - we have a birthday party in the morning, then DH and I are going to dinner with his coworkers.
Sunday - Steelers game!
Tonight - dinner, dvr
Tomorrow - I'm going to my cousin's house for a girls craft day. My inlaws are coming down to see Noah's soccer game, so they'll probably still be at my house when craft day is over.
Sunday - going to the pumpkin patch in the morning, laundry and packing. I leave on Monday for a work trip to Michigan. And zumba in the evening.
Noting exciting since we just got back into town on Tues.
Figuring out, planning, buying stuff for Caileigh's birthday (7!) and her "pumpkin patch" party at our house next sun.
Anyone have ideas for a Halloween themed treasure hunt?
How time flies! Caileigh (9), Keira (6) & Eamon (3)
There is only one thing on the calendar for the weekend ? I have a beginning knitting class to teach on Sunday afternoon. But my to do list is SO long. Thankfully, I?m caught up in the kitchen and other than putting clean clothes away, we?re caught up on laundry. But the clutter is getting to me and there are several piles that have been staring at me for too long.
DH has been working on the Halloween decorating, I need to get Heather to settle on a costume (ET is not going to happen?) and I have several knitting designs that are *this close* to being ready to send to an editor for review. Oh, and we?re getting family pictures taken in two weeks and I have no clue what we?re going to wear?or where we?re going to do the pictures.
Also, I?m exhausted. I absolutely have to get to bed early and get some extra sleep. I can?t keep going like this.
Tonight: Hoping to leave work a bit early to go get a mani/pedi. I then have to run over to my parents house for instructions (they are both going out of town tomorrow for the week, Dad FL, Mom CA) and me and my sisters are taking turns watching the dog since my dad refuses to put him in a kennel. Plus, I need to go pick up my J.Crew purchase from my sister for tomorrow.
Saturday: We have a wedding, in which I am wearing above purchase.
Sunday: Nathan has a blacksmithing demo in Mt. Lebo, weather permitting and I am on doggie duty until my sister gets home. Plus, the usual grocery store, laundry, cleaning crap.
Painting!!! Yes, I am excited. Our "formal" living room is basically current a dumping ground for everything. Has terrible red carpet and we have not bought furniture yet because, we have not painted yet. So this is the weekend for paint!! yippee! After the paint is done, we can rip up the fug carpet!! and the "Red room" will need a new name.
My ILs are taking EJ saturday night so we have some extra time to just really work. And due to the long weekend I think we can be very productive. Or I can. K has to work Monday. Sucker.
I anticipate there to be little food prep in my kitchen too.
tonight - not sure yet- Mike has an "urge" for Fat Heads so perhaps we'll hang out there for a bit? i am fine with watching Downton Abbey and drinking wine.
tomorrow - no plans - yay - maybe spend some time at Ross Park Mall.
Sunday - my sister's baby shower
We need to pack up our porch furniture for winter. I also need to change out my summer clothes and re-org my closet. I dread this task.
I have a 4 day weekend, woo hoo, but its busy,
today I'm already dead & it's only 11. I've been cleaning & purging toys & prepping for Js birthday. So far today I've done 2 loads of laundry, made 16 mulit colored suckers, filled 3 garbage bags with broken toys, filled 2 bags & two boxes with donated toys & gathered 6 large toys for donation.
Tomorrow is his party in the morning & we have family pictures at 6. I still don't know what we're wearing for that. I need to shop today for something for the boys.
we've started a birthday weekend tradition of taking the kids to Hallowboo, so we may do that Sunday.
Monday is parent teacher conference day at Jackson's school so I have mine scheduled but other than that we'll be lazy,
I took today off!!!
Got up early (but 2 hrs later than normal!) and gave my hair a WAY WAY WAY overdue coloring and took a nice shower. Then Dropped Adam off for School with Jeff and one of the moms had invited everyone for coffee to get to meet each other so we stopped by there. We picked him up then I went for an also WAY WAY WAY overdue hair cut. After words the boys met me at the Dor-Stop for lunch. Now I will just be cleaning, doing laundry and making a few cakes for tomorrow.
SAT: We have a Birthday Party in the afternoon and then I will be doing a cake for my nieces baptism.
SUN: get everyone up and dressed up early to head out to Freeport for Church and the baptism.
