I think I should be able to go home

All week, I have had a horrible smell in my office. It started last Friday and no one but me could smell it. Fine, we had a plumbing issue and had to have the drains snaked so it was residual stank.

Monday, it smell horrible but it goes away. So all week, I kept smelling it but we had windows being replaced so there was a ton of air movement. Today, I decided we needed to find this smell. So we move the filing cabinets and it is a dead mouse!

I think I am entitled to day done.

  • Agreed!   And this isn't the first time you've found a dead animal around your office, right?   This new incident is just too traumatic for you!

No, me and dead mice go back a long time. I need to find jobs in buildings not surrounded by woods! The worse was the dealership in Gibsonia, we had 20 acres of woods next to us. Which means when it got cold, the field mice came inside.

DH did find a dead rat in a bucket when I worked in the city. Thanks the lord I missed that one!
