I need new pots & pans.
I really need a new set. The set we got when we got married is on its last leg. It is the nonstick stuff---it's starting to chip.

time to throw it out! What do you have that you love? I've heard to avoid the nonstick stuff, but I love that I don't have to worry about things sticking to the bottom. I don't love that it's not dishwasher friendly...so bonus points if yours isn't hand wash only! TIA
Re: I need new pots & pans.
I really like those. Do you have issues with things sticking really badly? How do you clean yours?
ETA: Are they really heavy?
We've found that the trick to keeping things from sticking is to let it heat up gradually for things like eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. Avoid flinging eggs into a super hot pan, because that's when we've noticed things get sticky, so to speak. Otherwise, a little olive oil or something like that in the pan (not cooking spray with this set) does well, too. We clean ours in the dishwasher if we're lazy, or we use Barkeeper's Friend for hand washing if we really feel like shining them up nicely. You don't always have to hand wash them, but it's good for them to do it sometimes. Be careful with the lids, if you get that set - they can get hot sometimes. I wouldn't say they're inordinately heavy, but they're sturdy enough - definitely not flimsy. We registered for one of these pans when we got married and loved it so much that we called it our favorite pan, so it was an easy choice as to what to replace our crummy ones with.
I also have a few Revere Ware pots that we hung onto. Those are also incredible, and they will last you forever, too. I would have been happy with replacing our bad pans with a set of Revere Ware, too. I know my mom has several of those pans that have lasted at least 50 years - handed down from my grandma!
Can you stack/nest the Revere ware? I have pull out drawers for pots and pans and everything is stacked
Oddly enough... my pots and pans are in a photo of my grandparent's gift table at their wedding in 1956. I LOVE them.
I do have a few newer pans, and they're Calphalon. I really like them. Great quality.
