Worried
I started having some spotting yesterday morning and it just won't stop. I'm worried that this is the start of a miscarriage. The on-call doctor that I spoke to yesterday said there is not much anyone can do if it is a miscarriage. I just have to let nature take it's course. I really hope that's not what's happening.
I'm going to try to get in to see the doctor today. In the meanwhile, I'm trying my best to stay positive.

Thanks. I'm going for an u/s in a few minutes, then for blood work, then for an appointment with the OB. I'll update later.

I just got my ultrasound done and I am happy to report we were able to see the yolk sack and the heartbeat! It was 128 bpm! Dh and I are so happy.
Now, I'm not sure why I'm still spotting but seeing the baby in tack with it's heartbeating was such a relief! I have my OB appointment at 2:30 today.

That is great news!! So happy to hear it. Spotting is definitely scary. I'm glad you were able to get it checked out though so it can ease your mind. AND you got to see the heartbeat!
When I went to the OB this afternoon I was checked by a mid-wfe. She did a pap, and said that the blood is coming from my cervix, not my uterus. She said maybe the u/s on Friday irratated my cervix. Mystery solved.
