Another Chirstmas question (Godparents)...
Do your kids buy their Godparents Christmas gifts? Last year I just got them all a $25 gift card but that was $100 on top of all the other presents we had to buy. I'd like to get something more personal/slightly less in cost. What do you get for Godparents? Do you let the kids pick out something?

We do - for the Ireland set of Godparents, but that's because we don't exchange Christmas gifts with DH's side of the family (except Granddad). My brother, and his wife, are the boys' Godfather/Godmother respectively, and we exchange gifts with them anyway - we don't segregate out as "for my Godmother", if you know what I mean.
Mother's Day and Father's Day, we send a little something to them from the Godchildren.
My three sons!
No. We don't talk to DD's GF. My sister is both kids' GM and my brother is DS's GF, but we don't exchange sibling gifts at Xmas, we just buy for kids.
How time flies! Caileigh (9), Keira (6) & Eamon (3)
We don't get presents for EJ's godfather- but we do buy for their boys. Her godmother is my sister and as much as I would like to cut out the excess gift giving there, I don't see her ever giving into that. So she will get somethign from us.
My sister and her husband are the godparents for both my kids, and we buy for them. When they have kids, we'll likely do just a gift exchange for the kids, but until that happens, we'll be shopping for them
DD's GF is my brother, so he'd get a gift anyways, and her GM is my aunt and we do a gift exchange with her. It's usually something small, like some pictures in frames, something Brinley made and something else like beauty supplies or a candle; a book, etc.
DS's god parents are BIL and SIL so we'd buy for them anyways too.
I actually still buy for my GM, but she buys for my entire family. My GF and I decided to stop exchanging gifts when it came to the point that we were just exchanging gift cards (guys are so hard to buy for!).
DD's god parents are BIL and my cousin, DS's are my other cousin and BIL. So BIL usually gets a new 5X7 of DS and one of the girls and each of my cousins get a pic of their godchild(ren)
