Feeling accomplished!
I was just on the phone with my mom to discuss my sister's baby shower...and by "discuss" I mean I held the phone to my ear as she talked. I started getting a little bored, so I put her on speaker and got all of my fall decorations out. And she had no idea.

LOL...DH & I have both put MIL on speaker while we've done other things. She never knows. ;-)
How is the planning coming? When is it ?
I love speaker phone! I get so much done that way!
I did my fall decorating a few weeks ago, but I keep forgetting to get my Halloween stuff out...better do it soon, or it'll be time to put it away!
That is mulit-tasking at its best! DH does the same thing with MIL. I have to use my bluetooth with my mom because shes always bouncing ideas and questions off me.
I actually put my fall/Halloween decorations up last week while DH was watching football. Halloween is really the only other holiday I decorate for besides Christmas. But its a light up pumpkin in my front window, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. Some halloween garland and a few knick-knacky things MIL got me. Oh and those damn window clings Chase insists on putting up in the china cabinet. Thats his only decorating request so he gets it.
Oh my goodness, it's so stressful! There weren't that many people invited and half of them didn't RSVP, which is obnoxious. And I've been crazy swamped with work stuff so I've been trying to delegate a lot of tasks to my mom. She says she doesn't mind, though. Just as long as I "run the show" on the actual day...which is this Saturday.
Its going to be so much fun once the party starts. Whats the theme?
I sincerely doubt that. There is a lot of wine in my future.
It's a build-a-library shower.
