Oh, silly H
Last night we were having a 'discussion' regarding household responsibilities...and his lack of them.
He then comes up with a brilliant idea- he says that making dinner and cleaning it up is very time consuming. So instead of something like 'let me help with dinner...' or 'let me help clean up dinner..' he says, "Let's eliminate that." Eliminate dinner? Yes. So then I ask how we would do that, considering there would be 3 hungry people.
"I could bring dinner home from Chik-fil-A."
YES, H. That is a brillian solution. Instead of making dinner each night, we will eat Chick-fil-A. Every. Night.

Haha. I'm lucky in that DH likes to cook. So he will do the cooking and I will clean up after dinner. We do have takeout on Wednesdays. Helps to break up the week and gives us a little bit more time.
And now I'm thinking that I want Chick-Fil-A.
I'm just happy to hear that someone else's H thinks the same way mine does.
FWIW - we also had the same discussion this weekend. And my H came up with no solutions that were even close to being somewhat helpful the ways your's did
This is us too...except a lot of the time I'll end up entertaining the pup while he just cleans up. We usually go out on Wednesdays to break up the week too and have time together without the dog or the tv on...
I think thats a pretty great idea. DH doesnt cook much, but hes really been trying to do it more oftern lately. I prefer to cook, because I hate doing dishes. Now that I have Chase to unload and reload the dishwasher DH only has to wash pots and pans.
