As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. So remember the little girl who brought a pregnancy test to school?
She gave me a big old hug today (which is kind of random because she's not my student) and was like, "I can wrap my arms around you and my hands touch! I can't do that with my mom. She's too fat!"
To which I said, "That's not a very kind thing to say about your mom."
To which she replied, "No, it's OK. She says it all the time. She knows she's fat. She tells everyone and they think it's funny!"
How do you even respond to that?

I still have never seen that show.
This little girl is like emaciated, though. Not sure if that changes things.

Maybe the mom says it b/c she is embarrassed & trys to laugh it off? Makes me sad for the little girl.
Honey boo boo is crazy!! It came on after 4 weddings one day and I left it on. It's like a train wreck that you can't look away from. She was in beauty pageants. She has older sisters and one is pregnant. The whole show needs subtitles because you can't understand what they are saying.
Agreed and I also have never seen the show. Only the commercials for it. It was on one day while DH was flipping and stopped on it to see what the fuss was about. Then he went on a 5 minute rant about how people actually pay these people to do this stupid show and that people actually watch it. Americans should not need subtitles if their show is being aired in AMERICA!
But my response would probobly, be something along the lines of
OMG my husband does this all.the.time. he hates reality, says I'm just making them more rich, and that TV its rotting my brain
