Emmy--

Thanks for the Disney crowd's pin on Pinterest!  That definitely changes our timeframe a little bit.

We want to try to sneak in the trip before DD turns 4 (March 18th)--but the crowds look a little to high the first two weeks in March.  I'm thinking we'll try the last week in Feb and hope for swimming weather.

When are you thinking of going?

Re: Emmy--

  • I'm guessing those March crowds are due to spring break?

we're aiming for  early November or mid-late October for next  year, fall 2013!  the last time I was at disney was before Brian & I got married....his parents took us there in July, never, ever again!  ugh-between the heat & the crowds, I wanted to die!

  • we are going early may... like the 12th-18th I think.
  • I highly recommend www.touringplans.com and the Lines app. Totally worth the money for families who want to maximize their touring. /shameless plug :)

Thanks for the tip Sarah.  I am intimidated by this whole thing, and that seems like something that would make me feel a little more ready.  I feel like I need to go down with a plan. And am not sure if I can depend on the ILs to come up with one.

Thanks!  There is so much information out there.  It is hard to digest it all!

  • I just realized this is the first trip we have ever made with the ILs... I sure hope we are compatible travel partners.  Tongue Tied nothing like jumping right in to find out!
  • www.allearsnet.com is another site I adore. If it's not on All Ears it doesn't exist. There are some great planning podcasts out there if that's your thing. My favorite is WDW Today and if you check out their Wiki page it shows which episodes talk about topics you might be interested in. :)
