Williamsburg, VA Questions
DH and I are going this week for four days and I have a few questions. As background, we're doing Busch Gardens one day and are going sans kids.
Have you done a ghost tour and if so, is it worth it and which one? This idea is kind of interesting to me but I don't want to waste my time and money either.
Do we need more than one day in Colonial Williamsburg? We do like history quite a bit but worried that a lot of the activities are more "kid-centric".
Any other sites or evens you recommend?
Re: Williamsburg, VA Questions
DH and I went to Williamsburg on our honeymoon and we spent a full day in Colonial Williamsburg, but we felt like that was a good amount of time (we didn't feel too rushed and we didn't feel like we had too much downtime/time that we didn't know what to do with ourselves). We walked the whole time and basically saw every building/display/presentation we could. We also had a sit down lunch. We didn't tour the governor's mansion, but if we had we would have had time for that as well because we spent a decent amount of time wandering the shops outside of the standard historic area.
No help with the ghost tour because I scare too easily for that kind of thing.
