Baby Bucket List?

There have been so many posts about TTC, I started thinking about what would be on my "baby bucket list"- meaning things I want to do before we TTC.  I was asking DH the other day what would be on his, and we couldn't come up with much.  What's on your baby bucket lists?

Re: Baby Bucket List?

  • Here is mine:

-Graduate in May from pharmacy school (and find a job, think that's a given)

-Take a trip somewhere fun and warm

    -Buy a house

That's all I could think of though, and there MUST be other things I'd want to do before TTC... right?!

  • Hike the Inca Trail.

Visit my reletives on my dad's side (My gma is in Arizona, my aunt and uncle are missionaries in west africa)

Visit my BFF in the UK

    Pay off student loans....

  • My musts are pay down some debt and buy a house. We'd love to travel, etc. and if we can before a baby that'd be great, but we can't, we always do that later!

  • DH and i have a list, but we're not exactly expecting to get it all done before baby comes....

Live together (only 3 more weeks after this one!!!!)

    - More camping trips

    - SCUBA Dive trips

    - Vegas (I've never been)

    - Decorate our apartment

    - I want to take cooking classes

    - He wants to snowboard Whistler

    - Pay off my student loan (~$14k left and our only debt other than the mortgage!)

Most of it's stuff I can do if I'm KU  :)

  • There used to be things that i was like i "definitely" want to do that before I have kids.. and now i'm like.. well if it happens, great, if not... there's still time.

I want to travel, with kids, without kids, whatever. I've said before, i'm not above dropping the kids off with grandma and grandpa for a week while H and I go somewhere, and I want to take my kids to see places. So i'm not going to stop travelling just because I have kids.

I wanted to get reno's done before we had kids (as some of you will remember H and I bought an old church that we're turning into our house).. again...would be nice, but they're going to get done whether we have kids or not, so if it happens that we aren't exactly where we thought we wanted to be reno wise before we have kids it's not the end of the world.

I guess that's sort of how i know i'm almost ready, these things are no longer NEED to do's before we have kids...

This. We live in an apartment and have debt.  Our only requirement for a baby was to have stable jobs and I needed a new car. We've done both, so we're going to see what happens and really start trying in the next couple months. As of right now, we aren't preventing.

  • We just want to be able to travel.. which we will, even with babies :)

We are hoping that H makes his quota this year for the company trip to Jamaica in September!!

Other than that.. we already have a house, have very minimal debt, and have both graduated college with stable jobs so.. we just want to be "more ready"... hoping that will be next spring/summer :)

  • I made one of these over the summer. We definitely want a house. We have a 1 bedroom apartment, not much room for a baby. Want to travel a little bit without any ties, love to go to Greece or Europe. At least one big trip! I would love to go to Vegas too and go to a professional football game!
