Re: Who has electric heat?
my dads house has electric heat i grew up with it what do you need to know?
I am well aware how expensive this will be. We have finally moved back but there is no heating system in place yet. We do have a pellet stove but need something for these chilly fall nights. I told the h to have a plan and the system in place before end of summer because fall is his busy season. Had decided all along to do hydronic electric baseboard heat. Now he is debating ductless system, wall heaters and the baseboard. Like everything with this house, most decision are made on the fly or cost a premium because everything is last minute. fun times I tell you, fun times.
On average what can i expect electric bill to be? 500 per month in winter?
We do have the pellet stove for winter but it is not that cold yet to run that bad boy.
J is convinced hydronic baseboard is the way to go, the good people are Marley MEP (makers of Fahrenheat) suggested fan force wall heaters.
thanks ladies.
Melis where did you get ductless system from?
