I got the Job!
SO after a runaround with the supervisor (previously posted about), I finally got called in for an interview last week. I got called back for a second interview today and got the job!!!
Its at an emergency homeless shelter, which means essentially keeping people from getting into fights and from doing drugs and helping clients meet thier goals (usually to get housing).
Anyways its 40+ hours a week (including weekends, overnights, holidays) so its going to be a very different winter! But its only seasonal with possibility of casual after...so for 5 months, to get our finances back in order I guess I'll be giving up the holidays! I am just soooo happy as money was getting very very very tight!

Haha I am sure I will, I worked at a shelter last spring (March-May), so I am already familiar with the work, but there is never an end to the interesting going-ons in shelters!
