Re: Tell Me Something...

  • Spooky--- My mom's house, the house I grew up in, is totally haunted. I have been home alone and clearly heard the doors upstairs (warped from age and you need to shove them open) open and close, scraping along the floor. Hearing footsteps going up the stairs and just stopping. I used to play with and talk to the ghosts when I was little. (The home has been in my Dad's family for years.) The ghost I used to talk to the most was Joe. When my mom mentioned it to my dad, he told her that was his grandfather who died in the house who, coincidentally, my room at the time was his room.

Funny--- I am watching H watch The Office... I just don't get it but he is so freaking cute.

Gross--- AF is here and I am pretty sure I am dying... I know this isn't gross but that is just how I feel.

Sweet--- H and I are planning to go to Pittsburgh or Columbus the first weekend of November! He just wants us to relax and unwind together. I love him!

  • Spooky: H and I saw Looper about 2 weeks ago. It wasn't necessarily a scary movie, but there was a super creepy scene that has been haunting me for weeks.  Right in the beginning when the one guy gets caught for letting his loop go... *shivers*

Funny:  I just started reading a book called Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris.  It's has me giggling the whole time.

Gross: One of the kids at my work today had another accident, a poopy one.  I am so fed up with all the accidents this year! 6 (3 of which were poop) in 7 weeks!

Sweet:  My kitty was just sleeping on H's lap as he was reading.  It was so cute I wanted to get a picture and post it here for my "tell me something sweet" but when I got up to get my phone for a picture, she jumped off :-(

EDIT: This one will do :-)  A cold house + sleepy kitty =

      Anniversary
  • Spooky - There is an abandoned high school in my town that they have a haunted house in every year.  I was creeped out just driving by.  I hate scary movies and haunted houses, you couldn't pay me enough money to go in!

Funny - Don't have anything specific.  See here if you want a smile: http://pinterest.com/auroras_envy/random/

Gross - I drained a pretty sweet abcess on a tooth this week.  You know, puncture it with a scalpel and it's like a little pus volcano.  Start to squeeze it and you drain more and more...and just when you think it's empty, you get the cottage cheesy chunky granulation coming out.  For some reason I get a lot of satisfaction out of it, but I know I'm a bit weird so most people would probably find that gross.

Sweet - see above, apparently =]  In other news, H and I are still eating leftover candy from the wedding.

  • Spooky- We used to live in Savannah, which is supposedly one of the most haunted cities in America. BIL & SIL were in town for H's graduation, so we took them on a ghost tour that a friend of ours ran. We had heard a lot of the stories (I was a tour guide for about a year there), but not about this one house. It was SUPER creepy, even though it wasn't hidden away or anything- It just had that vibe to it. There were a LOT of stories about different things that had happened there, including one about a little girl and her dog that used to sit in the window of the house- Can't remember exactly what. So we go on with the tour, and maybe about 15 minutes later while we're standing in front of a different house, a girl was looking through her pictures that she had been taking while we were on the tour. I sh!t you not, she had a picture of a little ghost girl and a ghost dog sitting in the window of the super creepy house. Up until this point I had been pretty pessimistic about ghosts existing, but this totally changed my mind. My friend ran the tour, so I know she wasn't "planted" in our group for shock value or anything. And we went back to the house later that night to see if it was caused from something on the windows/ inside the house, but there was nothing to see and we couldn't recreate the picture. Definitely the spookiest thing that has ever happened to me.

Funny- The H just forwarded this to me and it made me giggle like an idiot: http://i.imgur.com/BXrek.jpg

Gross- I think I have kale rotting somewhere deep in my kitchen sink.

Sweet- My dog is falling asleep on my leg, gazing at me adoringly :)

  • Spooky - My mom frequently has dreams that come true.  She's so weird and it freaks me out  lol

    Funny -

Gross - Hubby and I really enjoy popping each other's pimples (mostly ones on our backs we can't reach by ourselves)  pretty gross, but not quite as awesome as Sam's tooth abscess at work.

Sweet - This past weekend DH and I participated in a mustache ride (a bike pub crawl where everyone had to wear a mustache, proceeds went to the local humane society - over $4000!!!) anyway, I got SUPER drunk and when that happens I get really emotional, and I was a crying mess by the time we got home, just being ridiculous.  Hubby helps me get into bed, he used my makeup remover to wipe my makeup and mustache off (I used eye liner for my mustache, check out my pics on fb, it was awesome) and then refilled my water bottle THREE times throughout the night because I kept waking up and drinking it all.  He is way too sweet to me.  I made sure to show my appreciation the next morning  ;)  lol

  • Spooky- Where we live there are like 5 different haunted buildings. 1 of which is an old abandoned school from like the 70's and it has become illegal to go there at night now. If you see it during the day it looks like crap but at night there are sounds and blood everywhere. You can see kids running down the hall and screaming doors open and close. I have been during the day and night and it is so weird. Most people go on Halloween but I refuse.

Funny- So I work with my parents and brother and usually in the mornings we talk and tell stories. Well yesterday we were talking about hitting animals with ours cars like birds and all this since it's hunting season. Anyways my stepdad was saying there was a guy one time who hit a cat and went to the nearest house and was like I think I may have hit your pet. The guy at the door was like what did it look like the guy who hit the cat like laid down and made a shocking face/holy sh*t face. It was Priceless to see it!

Gross- I like popping H's pimples he could care less about mine. I'm not sure if this is gross or just weird but I can pop my shoulder, both ankles, and my hip out of place and back in place without anyone ever knowing it moved. You can hear it but you don't really see it. And most of the time I don't do it on purpose.

Sweet- Last night H made me dinner and cookies for dessert. And also he went to the grocery store with me. It was his way of taking care of me even when I didn't ask.

  • Spooky: H & I are going to Maine next weekend and I want to go on a ghost tour in Portland one night! I'm not big into scary things like haunted houses or scary movies, but I think this should be fun... and spooky of course!

Funny: this is my favorite moment from Bridesmaids and I have no clue why: http://pinterest.com/pin/267119821619066434/

Gross: My previous post about the movie Bridesmaids reminded me of that other scene when they go dress shopping and the fact that I can't handle vomit, at all, even if it's only in a movie. That scene is so bad that if I don't leave the room I'll dry heave for 10 minutes.

Sweet: I was just looking at pictures of our dog when he was a puppy. He's going to be two next month! I'm biased, but I think he's the sweetest! http://tinyurl.com/8bhvatb
