Pregnancy Test from Dollar Tree??

Would you buy a pregnancy test from Dollar Tree?? My grade partner told me I should because they are cheaper and I might be going through a lot of them. She said they all test for the same chemical change. What do you think??

I heard peeonastick is a website to go look at for pregnancy test answers :)

  • We bought one from there.  Said she wasn't pregnant and she wasn't (just the way we wanted it).

  • I got mine from Dollar General they had Clearblue for only $5.89. They also had some real cheap no name ones for only $1, but I didn't try them. After the Clearblue came up positive, I went to CVS and spent $14 on a CVS brand test. In my opinion, I wouldn't get too obsessed with POAS.

  • Ditto what Tara said.  I didn't go to the dollar store for my tests, but I also didn't buy the super expensive ones.  Once you get a positive you could buy an expensive one, but I think they do test for the same thing.  Some might use higher quality materials but I think you are also paying for the name of the product.

  • I've heard they are reliable. However, I went on amazon.com and purchased 20 wondfo (internet cheapies) for 8 bucks. I then purchased 2 first response at Target for confirmation and because I just dont believe lines, lol, I purchsaed a 2 pack of the clear blue easy digital tests to confirm. Then just for kicks I purchased the OSOM tests from amazon, they are known to never give a false positive and are super sensitive. They just take a little longer to develop.

I spent a good 70 bucks total on pregnancy tests for 2 months and I dont regret a single test! I will more than likely do it again the next time around.

If you plan to be a POASaholic would be to go with the internet cheapies and to also never buy a blue dye test, they are known to give false positives quite often.
