Free-for-all Friday and Weekend Plans
Since it seems there are a few of us avoiding work on this Friday...
Let's hear 'em!
Re: Free-for-all Friday and Weekend Plans
The name of the game is cleaning until FIL and SMIL arrive at dinnertime tomorrow! Then probably out to dinner that night and just hanging around the house so they can play with DS.
Sunday: Hopefully visiting, cooking, and Adams Farm for a few hours. Likely squeezing in some shopping with SMIL, since we have a lot more stores around than they have in rural Oklahoma. Oh, and I plan on napping as much as possible while there are extra hands in the house to watch DS!
my plan is to see how i feel. My friends are moving soon so they are having a yard sale in cumberland. I said i was going to set up a table w a lot of stuff i want to get rid of. but i dont want to stand out in the cold all day if i dont have to!
Its a low key kind of of weekend DH is going to drill in Newport so he is gone from 5 am tomorrow untikl around 9 pm and also on Sunday. I ususally hang with my mom when he is gone, but my parents are in NH for a long weekend so i think i'm going to try to catch up on some fall cleaning, like you know do the oven and flip the mattress---really exciting stuff!
Work until about 4 today if I can get enough written by then. Tonight is pizza night, bbq chicken pizza this time!
Saturday: lazy morning, 12:30-2 kid party for one of ben's classmates; home for football (Go hawkeyes!), cleaning and prepping for Sunday.
Sunday: day at Bear Mountain w/ some of DH's coworkers and friends. So need to pack everything up and go grill some burgers and have a nice outside day since the weather sounds gorgeous!

My blog: Dodging Acorns
Yay! TGIF! It's been a crazy work week.
Tonight: out to dinner with the family, yay.
Saturday: soccer clinic for DS; then going apple picking. DH is working in the evening so I will probably get Chipotle for me & the kdis for dinner; then plan to start the Italian wedding soup so all I have to do is throw everything in the crockpot to warm it up on Sunday.
Sunday: church in the AM; cleaning the house; baking an apple pie; having DH's parents and his brother & family over for dinner, pie, and Patriots game watching.
Saturday: family fun day with DD's preschool at a local farm / creamery (corn maze, animals, bounce pillows, etc.). Then I am cantoring the 4pm mass at my church. Got to pick up a birthday present somewhere in there. Planning on making lasagna for supper.
Sunday: mass with the family. Friend's daughter's 2nd birthday party, as long as both of my kids are feeling OK.
birthday party for my oldest to go to on Sat and dinner at the in-laws on Sunday
