Hey ladies!
Is anyone going to use this board at all? Anyone new here who wasn't on TK?
Now that our weddings are old news, what is one thing you miss about planning?
Given the chance, would you ever plan another wedding?
Re: Anyone here?
First time stopping over here and I am not sure if I willl really use this board but thought I would respond anyway!
I miss EVERYTHING about planning. I loved every single minute of it and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I was just looking at pictures with H last night saying how said I am that i will never get to re-live that day/night!
I miss how busy planning kept me.
I've been asked to plan a few weddings, including my brothers and his g/f when they FINALLY decide to tie the knot.
I'm here!
I loved how busy planning kept me and now I'm at loose ends what to do with my time. But really I miss the anticipation of it coming up! Getting excited about all the little details and being married and everything. Life seems so flat now with nothing really to look forward to. I totally get why people have kids right away! haha
I'd plan another wedding if it ever came up. I loved the process!
This! Especially the part about nothing to look forward to. That's been the hardest part for me...especially because during the wedding planning process, I was able to travel back to Indiana and see my family every couple of months. Now, I don't even have any trips planned
Right now, I'm most looking forward to seeing my parents at Thanksgiving...I just have to keep finding little things to look forward to.
I'm dying for someone else to get married lol I just want to GO to a wedding. I think I will appreciate them so much more now that I've been through the process. My sister isn't even seeing anyone, but I'm excited for her to get married someday so I can help her lol She was a huge help with mine, so I'd like to return the favor, if/when the time comes. I had huge baby fever for a bit after the wedding, I guess for something to look forward to. But, we're just not quite there yet!
Hey! I'll use this board. :-) I was on TK a little bit too.
There is nothing that I miss about planning really. It was a financial strain, so I had a hard time actually enjoying myself. I guess the one thing that I miss is the excitement and anticipation of the wedding day.
I would plan another wedding...for someone else...and get paid for it,lol. I always said that if, God forbid, something happened to where I would get married again, I wouldn't have another wedding. I would just have something very small and informal.
Hi!
I never made any post on TK, I just looked at pictures, so I'm new here. I do miss the planning, but I'm glad it is over. I was super stressed and other than my DH, I did not have the support I would have liked.
No, I would never plan another wedding! If I could do it over again, I would elope, but I did love my dress!
