It's Quiet Around Here
Everyone must be having a great week since it's so quiet around here. What's everyone up to this weekend?
I worked 6:30-2 today and now I am going out with my mother for dinner. DH is taking his parents and my father to a professional basketball game. Tomorrow we are going to an Irish festival. I'm not Irish and could care less about it but some of my former stundets will be dancing at it, so hopefully I'll be able to see them.
Oh, and I've been soooooooo sick. Throwing up several times a day. I feel like I have the never-ending flu. I've read this is normal for the first trimester.

Re: It's Quiet Around Here
I've been having a BUSY week!!! This was the last week of the first quarter so I had to make sure all tests were made up. This weekend I have to grade tests and do report cards. I also have to finish lesson plans.
DH and I had a GREAT night last night cooking steak and potatoes on the grill for dinner right after sunset. It tasted so good. I got my first positive OPK today after taking them for 3 days so we made sure to BD. I have my first appointment with my new gyno on Thursday and we have tons of questions for them about TTC.
That sounds like a great night. DH and I haven't had a night like that in a while. I've been so tired lately, I've been in bed by 8:30. Since I was spotting last week I am scared to BD and before that I was tired/sick so we haven't in a long while. I feel bad for DH. Good luck at your new gynos. I hope you get all your questions answered.

I'm here too. Friday I had the day off due to fall break so I was busy with errands all day. Yesterday it was storming like crazy off and on. I at least got the grocery shopping done. Today I've been busy cleaning and need to do some studying.
DH is driving me crazy. He is doing better from his knee surgery but even on one crutch he's being freaking lazy. Is it really that hard to take the dirty dishes back into the kitchen? Grrrrr. And he stays in the living room all the time with the tv cranked up really loud. I've lost count of the times I've asked him to turn it down. It makes studying really hard. He's super cranky too. I'm sure being stuck in the house for a couple of weeks now would drive me crazy too but when I ask he doesn't want to go anywhere. I'm used to him going to his "office" to play games on the weekends. I just want some peace and quiet!
It was a busy weekend for us. My parents were out of town so we got some alone time....
if you know what I mean....
Then on Sunday, we went out house shopping. More about that in the other post.
