PW: Post-Wedding question
What did you learn or take away from the experience of planning your wedding?
I ask because I have become obsessed with flower arrangements. I hardly ever looked at flowers before the wedding. I mean I loved getting flowers as a gift from DH (before he was my DH
), but now I visit the floral section of the grocery store every week. And pin flower arrangements on Pinterest. I think I need to sign up for a course that teaches me about the types of flowers and how to make pretty arrangements.
What about you? Do you wear more makeup now? Do you want to host more dinner parties? Or parties in general?

Itchy nose.
Re: PW: Post-Wedding question
I actually learned that I don't want to do wedding planning as a career. All my life that was my DREAM job and after laboring over my own wedding it is so much work. It's nights and weekends and brides are never happy. I Loved all my vendors but I could find fault with everything if I was being nit picky enough (I'm a super type A person)...and I would never want to be on the receiving end of the drama stuff- the family dynamics, the b*thcy aunt with the cynde remarks, the vendors that make mistakes that you have to clean up after.
On a side note.... I do like planning events for Myself, low key stuff. And can't wait to moe into a new place, unpack my wedding gifts and host a dinner party!
I learned that I have a desire to learn to curl my hair (I have had a fear of using curling irons on myself since I got burnt by one at a young age, no problems with hair straighteners though which is weird to me).
I also developed a higher confidence in myself (and will likely go purchase mascara again, hadn't worn it in years but it made my eyes pop).
These are great! Keep em' coming.
I'm glad to see others learned more about themselves through this experience too
