Life insurance

Other than sgli do you have life insurance? If so, who through? Most companies have a no pilots or soldier coverage. How did you find someone to go through?

Re: Life insurance

  • USAA is always trying to sell us life insurance (every time I call them to mess with H's Roth or do anything with one of our accounts), and H is a flyer, so I guess they're okay with it.
I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.
  • Yes, we each have policy.  We have it through Navy Mutual.  Dh already had the Navy Mutual one along with his SGLI, so we just added another policy for me.  I think he found out about them when he first got in and was at TBS.
  • Yes, hubby and I have a life insurance. We got it from a local insurance company here. I think it's a promotional life insurance since it'll give you coverage in just a year. It is with the help of my MIL, who works as an insurance agent.
