Must be a bad week for us...T/P/GVs
So I found out this morning that one of my best friend's dad was in a plane crash this morning. He survived, but it sounds like it is going to be a long recovery. This is the update she just sent us:
"His plane went down sometime around 8:20am. The airport noticed around 9:30am that he never landed nor picked up his rental car and called the police. He was 100ft away from deep water. He broke his neck, fractured his pelvis, and ruptured an artery, but still managed to pull himself out of the plane. Rescue crews found him unconsious next to the plane. He was there for roughly 45mins - 1 hour.He went in to have the ruptured arteries coiled and they did a full body xray. He broke C1 and C2 and his vertebrae above his tailbone. Luckily right now there is no paralysis. His pelvic fracture is pretty significant, but hes doing well considering. They wanted to trasport him by helicopter to [hospital of the medical school], but the weather conditions are not good so they will have to take him on basically an ICU on wheels. Keep the positive vibes coming. This will be a long and tough recovery.
At least he is alive. Thats all I asked for."
So, T/P/GVs appreciated... might I add this same friend had a stroke and nearly died almost 2 years ago when she went on BC pills. Hopefully her dad will have as good of a recovery as she has!

OMG!!! The good Lord was watching out for this man. I'm sure it doesn't feel that way right now, but from the little I know, he is lucky to be on this earth still.

Wow! His survival is nothing short of a miracle! He apparently still has work to do here on earth.
