I can finally get excited

After two years of looking,  the horrible inspection and walking away from the last house, I was seriously  unable to get excited about this new house.  I know in my brain I love the house, but I just wasn't feeling super excited, even when we won the bidding war.  However, we had an amazing inspection this morning and things are moving forward, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I'm starting to get excited!

Re: I can finally get excited

  • Congratulations!  I know exactly what you mean by not getting too excited.  Husband and I looked for a year and several disappointments later, we finally have a house.  Just waiting on our closing day!
  • Congrats! I finally got excited about our house when we randomly drove by it and saw moving trucks in the driveway. A week before closing and it finally felt like there was a light at the end of the tunnel. It was an amazing feeling of lightness... giddy, really. Here's wishing you giddy-ness and a smooth sale. :)
