I'm an eBay virgin - help
So DH and I are going to a Halloween party and want to dress as the main characters from Breaking Bad. This requires 2 yellow hazmat suits.
I found them on eBay (thanks to a website devoted to how to dress as Breaking Bad for Halloween) - I have no idea how the online bidding works. I see I can buy them new for $25. I'm ok with this if it means I don't have to obsessively check if I'm winning the auction. Is there something wrong with this (buying new/"now?"). I honestly don't have the time to look around - I need it to be easy and done.

There is nothing wrong with buying them at the 'buy now' price. Make sure you check the shipping cost too.
FFR, when you bid on something you can bid the highest amount you are willing to pay without having to keep checking back. For example, if the shoes you want to bid on are currently at $3 and you know you want to pay no more than $15, set it at $15. It will start at $3 and will automatically increase your bid (only if someone else bids of course) to keep you in the lead until someone bids over your maximum. Then you get an email that says you've been outbid and you can either bid higher or lose the auction.

YeaH I'd just do buy it now. Make sure they will come in time. Shipping estimates should be given.
Also you'll need to step up PayPal if you don't have it.
