Re: Woman breastfeeds dog

  • I wish you could see my face right now. Indifferent.  I don't even know what to say.

  • When I was pregnant I had a dream that I had to breastfeed my entire family, including DH and the dog.  It was beyond creepy.  And that is just repulsive.

  • Ok, now that the shock has worn off, I can form words again.   Ok, first of all, her reason for doing it is odd.  She couldn't bf her kids, so she does it for her dog?!?!  Secondly, it's not even a puppy who would naturally drink milk (that still wouldn't be a good reason to me).  Third of all, 4 TIMES A DAY?!?!?! are you kidding me?

  • I wish that we could see the comments on that story...

  • i cant bring myself to read the article. But really?  Dogs get milk from their moms for a few weeks.  Not a couple years.  So it wasn't like it was essential to keep it alive.  I didn't even BF my child that long and got some surprised looks when I kept it up for 18 months.  hahaha.  i don't throw this out there too much, try hard not to be too judgy. But that is all very very bizarre.
  • What the... whaaat????

  • I'm speechless. I think she should be fined for animal cruelty, and I'm only half joking.

  • I dont get it. how can you not nurse your children but nurse and dog- not even a puppy...

I mean ok so obviously she can produce since she pumped for her child ( and nurses the dog) I find it hard to believe she couldnt- what get a latch with the child but can with the dog???? I am thinking the dog is not actually nursing, but licking and can't imagine that is enough to keep up the milk unless she has continued to pump to keep a supply. Ummm ODD...
