I saw in the PP clothes vent many comments about still having a pooch or muffin top. I learned about diastisis recti during prenatal yoga with ds2 and I realized this was why my belly never went back in after ds1. I was in the best shape of mu life and could do all the advanced ab moves in my pure barre class but still had what i called an upside cereal bowl at my belly button. It was gushy to he touch and couldnt be sucked in if i tried. Worth checking yourself and trying these exercises. Apparently traditional crunches can reopen or worsen diastisis.

I've just started splinting and the earlier exercises so I can't speak to the effectiveness but I feel a little more in control this time around and the splint while uncomfortable at times makes my clothes fit better.

Glad to help. Wish I knew of this the first time around. the yoga instructor also said that if you lay your back, knees up, and lift your head and have a "coning" in your stomach, you likely have a separation.
