Re: womancare associates-wexford

  • I love Dr England - he is the one I typically go to. I feel like he really explains things and answers all of my questions.  I also have seen Dr Jaja and he is very nice as well. Then again, I actually didn't have a great experience with Mallinger;) I know there are a couple of new drs that I haven't met. Good luck!

  • Gwen,

Thanks! I thought you went there! Oh man I looooved Dr. Mallinger! I am so glad to hear you like Dr. England and you feel he is thorough! I thought there were new drs but hadnt heard who or if anyone knew them! Thanks!!

  • I go to the orange division docs (Chesin).  I have seen all the doctors that are currently there (I believe) and like them all.  Dr. Sommer delivered by son via c-section and that was the day I met her - poor planning on my part.  I became very fond of Dr. Baer.  She is younger and I just felt as if I clicked better with her.  I had no bad experiences.  Dr. Imro saw me in the hospital and Dr. Rosado circed my son.  All wonderful.  My most recent experience for my yearly was less than stellar, though.  I am not sure exactly how, but they were MORE than one hour behind.  Normally I wouldn't wait, but I didn't want to have to through the hassle of rescheduling.  If I were pregnant and that sort of thing happened routinely, I might have to say something or change practices.
  • Oh I did see Dr Baer from the orange division once when I was pregnant (Dr England got called out for an emergency and they took pity on me since I'd waddled down there!). She was extremely nice!
  • Yup - LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Sommer. (And adored Dr. Chesin when I saw her at Passavant.) Sommer delivered Gavin (and I hadn't met her at the time). Dr. Divekar delivered Conall - I saw her again a few weeks ago. I'll be honest - she's the one doc I'm not overly fond of. I think it might be her directness - and the fact that she is not supportive of me trying for a VBAC this time (whereas Dr. Sommer thinks I'm the perfect candidate).

Dr. Baer is very nice, as well. All through this pregnancy, I've only had one wait time around 30 minutes (and it wasn't even an appt. - it was just for a shot I needed), but I do tend to make appts. between 7 and 9am. (My next one is at 1pm, so I'll let you know if that runs long!)

It's a good group - Dr. Sommer does not deliver anymore, though. :(

    My three sons!

  • I go to the Orange Division as well!  Some of the Dr.'s I have only seen a few times, but I have always had a positive experience.

Dr. Chesin is my 'main' Dr., although Dr. Divekar delivered Mason and Dr. Sommer delivered Garrett (I think it was right before she 'retired' since she no longer delivers).  Dr. Baer is awesome and I also really like Lisa Cone who is a nurse practitioner/nurse midwife (I think).  I usually go to Magee for my appointments and I've had to wait for some of my yearly appointments, but for my pregnancy appointments there never really seemed to be a wait (not sure if that was a factor).  I always feel very well taken care of when I'm there!

Yep, I got a letter (I think in August?) that he was leaving the practice and they are bringing in 2 new doctors.
