So E is almost 7 months and we are still exclusively BFing. I am just wondering how you got your LO to take a bottle. I am wanting her to drink some water and occasionally juice but she absolutely refuses a bottle. She has only taken a bottle a few times when MIL was here right after she was born. She didn't like it then either but MIL said she would eventually take it because she was hungry enough. But now that she has started food, I just feel like she should be getting water too. Suggestions??
No....click me!!!! Cause I'm the wedding bio!

Re: BFing mommas
I never did bottles with my kids. I just gave them a cup with water when they started solids. My kids didn't like the sippy style cup, but they all liked straw cups. I just gave v a regular open mouth cup for a long time because he wouldn't drink from a sippy or a straw though
DD would only take the playtex nurser with the latex nipple. She took them rarely but we switched her fairly early to the straw style sippy cups. She still uses those or regular cups today. I rarely gave her juice in a bottle and never gave water until she would use the straw sippy cup.
DS has done fine with the same bottle, I didn't even attempt anything else.
If you have good paci recommendations I will take them.
I am looking for a soothie style but latex since I can;t find a paci he likes.
Thanks ladies...I'll try a sippy cup. I just want to make sure to keep her kidneys clear since she is eating now and only nursing 5 times a day.
Bri- we only use the Nuk paci. It's the only kind she would ever use. I tried the soothe ones at first but she hated them.
