Are you actively TTC? Yes and no...we're not using any protection, and as of right now we're just going to see what happens
Are you charting/temping? Charting yes, but using an app on my phone so it's not completely accurate. Temping, no, not yet. I need to learn more about it first.
Any tips, tricks etc. you've learned or are planning on trying? Nothing yet, I'm hoping to learn some things from all of you!

When are you hoping to get pregnant? Any time of year better for you and your H to have a baby? I'd like to get pregnant before Christmas, but if it doesn't happen we'll probably put it off until July. I can't have a winter baby because H plows snow and I can just imagine going into labor during a snow storm and being stuck in the house alone!
We all obviously want healthy children, but would you prefer a boy or a girl as your first child? I really want a boy first. I had an older brother and it was great, and H is an older brother so he wants a boy first as well.
Who will be the first 5 people you tell that you're pregnant? H, my Mom & Dad, my 2 best friends....I'd need H to keep his mouth shut and not tell his parents because I know (for a fact) that they'd spread the word to everyone else in the family...
Also....I'm totally not pregnant as of now. I just got my period this morning, about 4 days earlier than I was expecting it....oh well, maybe next time

Yes, I use FertilityFriend.com it makes life easier. I also recommend you buy at BBt that is backlit if anyone is going to do temping

be patient and amazon sells bulk OPK's for cheap

When are you hoping to get pregnant? Any time of year better for you and your H to have a baby? Hopefully this cycle, clomid is horrible. I'd like a spring baby, being pregnant though the hot summer seems horrible, but due to our issues, I'll take it whenever

It's a long journey and for those of us that are having difficulty it's a tough road to walk. When others announce they are pregnant, we are really overjoyed for them but sometimes it's hard for us too. I sometimes get a little quiet and I know other in my boat that are the same way, we really truely are happy for you, but we might have a harder time showing it.
We're not TTC, so we're not charting/temping, etc.
One of my favorite websites is pregnantchicken.com. It's funny and honest about pregnancy and childbirth.
We're hoping to starty TTC in two years or so. I'm not sure any time of the year would be better or worse for us. The holidays would be a little more difficult as H works in retail. Although I'd want to avoid a holiday baby anyways (not that I think I would do anything to avoid it).
For my first I don't care if it's a boy or a girl, but I do want one of each so I'll care about the gender of the second one!
We'd definitely plan to tell our parents and sibilings first! It's something I actually can't wait to do! Even though H & I are both the youngest we're the first to get married and will probably be the first to have kids so I'm excited to one day tell our parents they'll be grandparents!
I had WICKED bad baby fever yesterday! No clue why. I spent most of the afternoon rationalizing that H & I could maybe pull it off. Luckily I came to my senses.

Yes and no! Like CPM if it happens great if not that's ok. We are going to start actively trying in April until then no protection though.

Charting yes and also trying to learn more about temping but planning to start that in Dec.

Patience! Also after sexy time I have a habit of jumping up to grab water but that will be H's job for now on so that I can just rest for a little bit.

We hope to get pregnant in early summer. The time of year doesn't really matter I just don't want to be giving birth between Sept and Jan of next year. We have several things going on then.

We would like a girl first. We both had horrible older brothers. Also boys run in H's family so we have this theory that if we get a girl first we will more than likely have a boy second. But just to get pregnant and have a baby is good enough for us.

Obviously H. Other than him it will be my parents and H's parents. We are actually thinking of having a family cookout to invite our parents, H's uncle, and our close friends to announce it.
Are you actively TTC? We have removed the goalie, and seeing what happens. Currently we're not timing our BD bc we only see each other on the weekends, so we pretty much do it all weekend long lol

Any tips, tricks etc. you've learned or are planning on trying? green tea & POM pre-O, PNVs. I just started using OPKs this cycle and got my first + yesterday so that was exciting.
What websites/blogs do you read about TTC? I spend a lot (A LOT) of time on TTGP on TB, once you get used to the crazy, it's fun.. a lot of fun. I don't read any baby/TTC blogs, but I did read this amazing birth story that had me crying like a baby.
When are you hoping to get pregnant? Any time of year better for you and your H to have a baby? I'm not picky, I don't imagine it being awesome to be super preggers over the summer, but I'll take whatever I can get

Who will be the first 5 people you tell that you're pregnant? Obviously our parents, then our couple bff, and then we're trying to think of a creative announcement to send to our extended family.
Other thoughts: I would recommend getting in the habit of temping now, even if you are not TTC. You can learn A LOT about your body doing that. And seriously, a BBT therm is only like $8 at the pharmacy. DON'T GET WALGREENS, they are notoriously sucky, a lot of people on TTGP have had problems with them. The back light is good, but most of them will record and save the most recent temp so you can turn it off then check it and record your temp later in the day.
I would also recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility Again, it's one of those things that good even if you're not TTC. You'd be surprised how much your body is telling you throughout your cycle.
Also, this is an excellent documentary called The Great Sperm Race. (it's on youtube) It's a great representation of how difficult it actually is to get pregnant. Plus, it's pretty funny.

Are you actively TTC? - nope, i've got my IUD.. thought it might not last as long as we originally anticipated
Are you charting/temping? - i'm not, however, i have been reading A LOT more about it lately...
Any tips, tricks etc. you've learned or are planning on trying? - after I remove the IUD, i think we'll just have at it for a bit... and see what happens.. if thta doesn't work.. then i'll probably start temping. Once I remove my IUD i'll start taking PNV's

I've heard your more likely to get preg when you are not trying, (but not preventing), so I'm not opposed to taking breaks, or fostering or adopting when we are ready for kids if getting pregnant doesn't happen right away.

We have talked about nixing the BC next spring sometime because it does make more sence for us to have kids sooner then later because I don't want to wait 5-10 years which is what it will be before I finish school since I am taking a break from it to work, we we are thinking have kids sooner so that I can go to school part time (and get free daycare at the uni) until I finish. Definately don't want to be 7 or 8 months preg in the summer, so we have talked about 'trying' between march and preventing (although probably not BC just other methods) again come september.

A girl no question, they are usually easier as toddlers and I feel like I can relate to girls better when it comes to teens since I do so much volunteering with them. (Having said that I was a terrible terrible toddler...so really any kid that is more like H would be wonderful).

no...Ive never been normal so you would think I would want to be doing this but i get so frustrated trying to remember times etc...so if we dont by our 1 yr annv then i will start to attempt this...just going with the flow for now

I dont get up right away...ive been basically not drinking anymore...we used to party alot but we both have cut wayy back...umm..the hardest thing for me right now is just to not stress about it...very hard not to though when you have had a year of major loss and comming up on those annv. and when friends and family keep poppin up preggo...:(

Are you actively TTC? Ideally we'd wait at a 1-2 years. but we go back and forth between waiting and just going for it now! So many reasons to wait, but someone once told me, "if you wait until you have everything in place to have kids, you'll never have them so you just go for it!"
Are you charting/temping?Yes, we currently use NFP to avoid and we will use it to hopefully conceive!
Any tips, tricks etc. you've learned or are planning on trying? charting my cycles and taking a prenatal. I recently had a sonogram looking for cysts and was told everything looks good/healthy so that was reassuring! Also had my annual and discussed TTC with my Dr. I've been told when TTC to have intercourse every other day when fertile
