Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I don't post much on here but last year I participated in the holiday ornament exchange and I thought it was a great idea. Just wondering if this will be put together again this year?
I would also be more than happy to help organize it if needed as well.
Re: Ornament Exchange
Looks like there is a lot of views, but no replies, so I went ahead and started a group on elfster.com. This is my first time doing this, so please give me any suggestions. Here is the direct link to signup.

Guidelines for Participation:
? Make a hand-made ornament to exchange with someone. The person could be in the same state or across the country! Get your creative juices flowing. With websites such as Pinterest- the ideas are endless. I participated in an ornament exchange last year and my ornament came all the way from Wisconsin and is now one of my favorite ornaments on my tree.
? The exchange will go through elfster.com. It is free to signup so be sure to register so you will receive emails (and don?t forget to put your address so your ?secret santa? knows where to send your ornament.) This site will allow you to ask questions anonymously to your recipient (such as does your tree have a theme, what is your favorite color, etc.) to help you customize your ornament for them.
? The deadline to sign up is November 9th. You will receive an email with your ?secret santa? on November 10th. And then you can start crafting!
? All ornaments should be in the post marked by December 10th. This way, the ornaments should be to everyone in time to be displayed on Christmas trees for everyone's enjoyment.
? Lastly if you signup, please follow through. We don?t want someone who sends an ornament, not receive one themselves.
