My little nuggets
God, I LOVED this show. I watched the finale everyday for like 4 days in a row because it was that unbelievable! And for the longest time my obsession was Sia's "Breathe Me." Although who am I kidding, I still obsess over that song when it comes on my ipod. I'll reply it a few times.

I watched the clip of Clair driving away while Breath Me played about a dozen times and sobbed liked a baby. I think I'm ready to watch it all again but I just don't know. For the longest time, whenever I heard Breath Me I would instantly become depressed. I don't think it's normal for a show to have that kind of effect on a person but it really was just that good of a show. And, unlike most really popular shows, they knew when to end it rather than drag it out because it still had good ratings. It was, perfection.
Yeah..I totally understand. It was just really powerful. One question though..did you see at Claire's wedding the oldest brother that David adopts is with another guy. Are we to believe he is also gay?
My little nuggets
Yup, just ran to YouTube to watch the ending again. I couldn't do it with the sound on, it's still too emotional. But to answer your question, yes, I think that's the case.

Super cliche, but Italy. I feel like I'm never gonna get there anytime soon, so it's first on my list. I would take DH.
NQ and Kernal you are cracking me up over here. HW and I have had this convo re: LOST about 10,000 times. Kernal I'm pretty sure you were in on some of those. The last 20 minutes. I just...I can't. SOB
Oh, I watched every episode of LOST and the ending to that show just pi$$ed me off. I still have 101 questions. That was a classic case of what not to do with a show that people liked. They had enough material for 4, maybe 5 seasons and they dragged it out for six people people were hooked. Now I hear it may be coming back. Just a bad idea.
1. What time did you go to bed last night? 10:30ish?

5. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would it be and who would you take with you? Australia, Mr. Nov of course.
This 1100%. When it started, I truly enjoyed the show and trying to figure out what the hell was going on....it was all very conspiracy like, and I loved it. Over time, we became increasingly annoyed with the show and it's lack of answers. We kept watching it in hope they would eventually tie up the loose ends, but we were horribly wrong. It was a total b!tch slap to the fact how they ended that show.
Six Feet Under, on the otherhand, is a prime example of perfect television. We began watching it after it had aired, so we watched the entire series via Netflix. Countless nights, I would sit on the couch watching 2 or 3 episodes at a time I never grew tired of it. I loved the characters, and I loved the storylines. It was very gritty, but in a mostly believable real-life kind of way.
My dad died unexpectedly last November (on his 53rd bday, the week of Thanksgiving), and I was responsible for his arrangements. I happened to mention the show to the funeral director, and he said his family had helped with the show (ie Six Feet Under's casket room was modeled after their own). It kinda brightened my day.
If that isn't a testament to how good that show is, I don't know what would be. Your father passes away and you find joy in the fact that the funeral home you use has ties to the show. We all probably sounds a bit crazy going on and on about this show. It is a bit of an obsession.
I don't have the energy or time to answer all these questions but I've watched the ending of this show and the LOST ending like 100 times. I totally thought I was the only one that would do that.
I swear, the show actually helped. I started rewatching random episodes right after he died. My husband thought that was kind of disturbing, but in reality, it helped me remember that death happens. People die every day, and the world keeps spinning.
I swear, I'm not a total nut job. On a lighter & brighter note, I'm digging Parks & Rec as well as Modern Family. And can I admit that my husband and I didn't know they were all related on MF for like the first 5 episodes that we watched. Someone told me at work, and now we always laugh at how blatently obvious it is, yet we somehow failed to connect the dots.
