Highs? This sounds terrible but not doing anything big for DH's bday. He wanted to keep things lowkey and it was nice just the two of us celebrating on Saturday. Also, my whole family went to PA yesterday to celebrate my aunt's 80th.
Lows? My inlaws freaking out Friday night about the "tornado". Unnecessary stress for DH and because of it, we had to rearrange dinner plans so I feel bad that he didn't get to eat where he wanted.
Eat/make anything good? I had french onion soup and a strip steak yesterday that were both so good!
Watch anything good? Started watching Season 2 of Mad Men
Read anything good? No
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? Until about an hour ago, I was 1 week ahead in my brain and I was thinking election day was next week and that I was going to be off next Tuesday. Was disappointed when I realized I was wrong!
What are you looking forward to this week? the calm before the storm...this is probably my last week before the holidays where it's going to be kinda quiet. Next week at work will begin Open Enrollment and then outside of work, DH and I have a lot of stuff going on. It's good...but I'm afraid I'm going to blink and Christmas will be here.
HUGE pet peeve of mine!! Especially these days where you can just email a reply or click a reply on Evite or whatever. It's not hard, people.

Lows? Getting up at 4am Saturday and Sunday to go to work.
Eat/make anything good? Pizza. That's always good
Watch anything good? We watched the first three episodes of 666 Park Ave. I love it!! We also started Revolution, against my better judgement. I knew I would enjoy it but shows like that always get cancelled. I am going through SOA withdrawal. I really want to start Season 4 but it's not on Netflix or HuluPlus.
Read anything good? No
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? I don't really have anything to say.
What are you looking forward to this week? Carving pumpkins on Saturday

Highs? My mom's birthday is today and we got together to celebrate on Saturday night. The woman is such a saint, it's nice to be able to honor her when we can.
We also finished emptying out the nursery and had it painted on Sunday. Our guys did an amazing job and I am *so* happy to be rolling with this project.
Lows? That this morning came.
I've been working insane hours lately and my deal chilled out enough this weekend for me to have a couple of mental health days. Praying things stay calm enough for semi-normal hours and some time with my kid now that I'm back to work.
Eat/make anything good? Not exciting in itself, but I actually got to wake up early Sunday morning and make a big breakfast for DS, DH and myself. It's probably laughable from the outside - but the chance to just feel like a mom cooking breakfast for her family was pretty great since I've been treading water just to get through the days with work and pregnancy exhaustion lately.
Watch anything good? We've been watching Revenge on Netflix and are down to the last couple of episodes on there. I really, really like it!
Read anything good? Started The Passage. I really need to get my hands on a great book that's not depressing, though. Feels like everything I've read lately has been a major downer.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? I'm just really grateful to have had a couple of days of down time and time to get stuff done around the house. By Friday night I was ready to cry from exhaustion. Between work and the house it's been really hard to stay ahead of things and I really just needed those couple of days to regroup.
What are you looking forward to this week? Maybe checking off a few more things for the nursery? Not sure - just hoping it's better than last!

Oh how I hate timesheets!! We bill our clients for the hours we work so I have to fill out a timesheet and account for all the time I work down to the quarter hour. It blows.

Someone's getting a little brother!
Highs...Tristan and I along with my friend and her two sons flew to Virginia Beach on Friday for the day. We took an 8am flight rented a car for $15. We visited a friend of mine, went to the beach and downtown Norfolk. We took the 8:30pm flight home and we were exhausted.
Saturday we had a bullroast in Jarrestsville for football and partied until 4am.
Lows...Tristan losing his last game and the Ravens losing.
Ate crabs yesterday.
Looking forward to the Zombie run on Sunday.
