Help with my Halloween costume
I'm going to try to get into the spirit this year and actually wear a costume to the annual Halloween party we go to. I was thinking zombie prom queen as I have a prom dress to wear that's a bit of a costume in itself (hot pink satin, sequins, bubble skirt) BUT I don't want to ruin the dress. So, can I pull off zombie prom queen without trashing the dress or can you suggest another costume that involves the dress?
edited: This is the dress (thank you google!)

Re: Help with my Halloween costume
I think if you added some ripped tulle, preferably black, and did zombie make-up and hair you could easily get away with out ruining the dress.
you could almost make a tutu out of it. I'm picturing something like this. Maybe adding some black tulle sleeves. You could easily do that with safety pins.
you could just wear it, and when people ask what your costume is you can act dumb like you didn't know it was a costume party.
But I agree, you could embellish without ruining hte dress to make it look a touch more ragged. Plus stuff like ripped hosery could help add to the look.
I had that dress!
I think you could avoid doing anything with the dress, honestly.
Put white/gray make up on your arms, chest, face and ripped up stockings and I think you'd accomplish your goal!
