Calendar & Tasks?

Have any of you found a great calendar and task "manager" that syncs between your computer and your phone? (I have an android phone)

I want to be able to see what appointments I have and what tasks I need to complete every day. I have tried using my work Outlook but it doesn't show my my tasks on my phone. Also, if I add something from my phone, it doesn't sync back with my computer.

Google doesn't combine them either and I can't even set recurring tasks.

I tried Remember the Milk but in order to get it close to what I want it to be able to do I have to pay for the Pro version which is $25/year.

I don't mind paying for a service as long as it's what I want.

Help?

Re: Calendar & Tasks?

  • I use google calendar and gmail.  I like it because I can share my calendar with my husband. But I update it on my phone, or computer. And I have my phone set that it will give me a reminder if I put one on the event/appointment. I don't use any kind of task manager specifically.
  • Cozi

One sign in for the whole family. I have it on the computer and my phone and set it up on DH's phone. super user friendly. links up. as well as calendar it has to do lists, and shopping lists. Its great to make the shopping list on the computer then text DH to stop at the store and he can pull up the list and even check it off as he buys!  It allows you to make separate lists- Target, GE etc. then you can edit as needed/

You can set calendars and to do lists for everyone in the family.

  • I use gmail with multiple calendars synced between our house calendar (bills, house things), my personal cal, work cal, DHs, DD1, DD2, and family (museum, zoo, get together, trick or treat).  Each calendar we color code so we know whose activity it is.  For tasks and grocery lists, I use orchestra.  All synced between DH, computer and me.

i love gmail calendar bc I can access anywhere anytime, at work, etc.  I didn't like Cozi and ditched it for orchestra
