Wow, today is the very definition of a Monday! It's absurd.
Woke up exhausted to water in our basement.. blah.
Got grouchy with H because we had different ideas about how to clean it up.
Left for work way later than usual.
The line at McDonalds for our morning caffeine stop was ridiculously long.
My student teacher spazzed on me because I asked her about a mistake she had made with grades.
Forgot to make the tickets the kids were supposed to sell before school for the dance.
and now.. AF just started... no WONDER I'm not responding to all of these little fires the way I normally do.
Can I just go home, change into my PJs, and eat chocolate all day please?
Re: Just another manic Monday...
Yikes. I'm so sorry. This is why I choose not to work on Monday's. I have every other Monday off so when Sunday night comes around, I'm not dreading the next 'work' day.
I hope today flies by and gets better for you!
I'm excited to have today off so I'm going to Disneyland with my sister, our friend, and our one-year old cousin.
I hate days like that and when they're Mondays it's 10x worse!
I'm exhausted today! We moved into our house yesterday and the past 3 days have been spent with long hours at our house painting/cleaning/putting floor in. It's been a long few days and then having to come to work today sucked! I just want to be in my new house and laying on my new couch napping.
yay for being in the new house!!
Thanks!!! We're so excited! It was weird sleeping there last night though, just the new place and space weirdness. I can't focus at work to save my life because I want to be there!
Congrats! Have any pics of your new house? H and I bought our house over 2 years ago and still have tons of projects to do! Our dining room is next and I can't wait to get it started.

what do you want to do the dining room?
Thanks all.. I'm feeling better now that I am at home!
Kiki, I teach 8th grade.. gotta love them.
Bless you SoSaysTara!
I interned in 8th grade and they were way too hormonal for me, so I teach 1st.
We made some changes to the master and living room. I haven't taken pictures yet. I will and put them up. I know it's never ending to what needs to be done! I'm excited to start with home projects.
Oh dear god, I could never teach the itty bitties. Blowing noses, tying shoes, zipping coats.. no thanks!
