Humor me please - House Poll
If you could change one thing about your home what would it be?
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want?
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights?
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding?
What do you think about double ovens?
Re: Humor me please - House Poll
If you could change one thing about your home what would it be?
proximity to neighbors house
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want?
Have - brushed nickel, want - oil rubbed bronze
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights?
The lights definitely heat the place up.
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding?
Have jets, but very rarely use them and would prefer not to since I never feel like they are clean enough
What do you think about double ovens?
I would like them twice a year, but would otherwise go unused
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? when we first moved in (4 weeks ago) the cabinet hardware and door knobs were gold and the faucets were stainless but we are now in the process of changing out everything to oil rubbed bronze.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? No-we have central heat and air vent in both bathrooms Are they fans or lights? n/a
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? is a garden tub with out jets but have a freestanding shower.
What do you think about double ovens? when we build our forever home I may get them. They may not be used all the time but I want them when I need them. I feel as though they are worth the investment.
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? They're dark, bronze/brass- ish. IDK the name of the color. I like them though.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights? No heaters
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? Jets. I almost never use it, but H has used it a few times.
What do you think about double ovens? I think they're great in the right house! Our kitchen is probably too small for a double oven, and I don't think I would use it very often.
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? We have brass. We want stainless/nickel.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights? Nope.
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? Built-in with jets. I love it.
What do you think about double ovens? Want! We currently have very dated appliances, with only one small oven, but it's part of the overall plan to renovate/upgrade.
If you could change one thing about your home what would it be? Our lot. I wish we had a few acres. But if we're talking actual home... umm, I wish it was bigger, honestly.
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? I have brushed nickel. Right now I dig rubbed bronze.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights? No
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? I thought I wouldn't like having the jets, but I actually do like it. I prefer built-in.. a little more space-efficient.
What do you think about double ovens? An absolute, 100% must in our next home.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
I guess I will answer my own questions too.
If you could change one thing about your home what would it be? Not real sure, hopefully not too much.
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? I think we will probably go ORB, but I worry about hard water stains.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights? I am requesting a heat fan in our master.
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? I think we will definitely go without jets but I need to decide if I want a free standing tub or not. I better get on that ASAP!
What do you think about double ovens? An absolute, we will have them.
I like it because it doesn't show spots like stainless steel does. We had stainless in our rent house and I think ORB is much easier to keep clean. Just my opinion though.
Personal preference, easy to keep clean and keep looking clean, flows better with the darker wood, paint colors & decor of my home.
Me too. Our new house will have a ceiling fan and I cannot wait.
If you could change one thing about your home what would it be? The kitchen. Hopefully that will happen summer 2013. It's a great space with tons of storage and countertop area; it just needs to be cosmetically updated.
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? Haha. We have brass doorknobs throughout the house, but nickel/chrome/stainless faucets. Then, the master bath was renovated and it has ORB faucets and hardware.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights? Yes, fans.
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? House built in 1974 -->no master bath tub, just an oversized shower. Built in with no jets in guest bath.
What do you think about double ovens? Love them. We have a double. If you could change one thing about your home what would it be? I probably would go back in time and NOT BUY IT. But, alas, I can't do that. So, I'll say the backyard, as it needs major work.
What "color" of hardware/faucets do you have/want? I prefer oil rubbed bronze for hardware, and brushed nickel for faucets.
Do you have heaters in your bathrooms? Are they fans or lights? One has a fan with a light, one has a heater and that's all it is.
Master bath tub... Jets, no jets, built-in or freestanding? There is no master bath tub. Too small a space.
What do you think about double ovens? I think it's great, IF you have the space, the design/height makes sense, and you actually cook enough to justify two ovens.
I agree with the other 2 post. Our house is rustic/french country and ORB just looks better so it is mainly personal preference.
