Paging Recovering Actor!!
I need your help make-up queen!
We're getting maternity pictures taken on Saturday and my face is broken out. All along my chin looks like a pizza. It's definitely from the hormones and normally I don't care about it but I don't want it to show in the pictures. Which products would you recommend for a fairly inexpensive way to cover it?
Re: Paging Recovering Actor!!
Oh my goodness! Yay for maternity pics! Rule number one... DO NOT change anything about your skincare right now at all. If anything, cut back a little if you use a lot of product. Rule number two... DO NOT pick at it AT. ALL. Let it be. Picking at it will only make your skin angrier, scar, and the texture will be funky.
Okay so, first things first. What foundation are you using now, if anything? You don't want to use anything too heavy because it can look that way in pictures.
How broken/red out are you? I would suggest a light application of foundation or tinted moisturizer with some concealer over the really red parts. If you have a foundation primer, that will really help smooth out texture. If you're oily, a light application of powder on top will help set everything and absorb shine. If you aren't oily, don't worry about it.
