My hubby bought me a Canon DSLR for my 30th bday last month. I've read the Dummy guide, but still feel clueless when I take it off the various auto modes (landscape, portraid, etc).
Has anyone had classes or private lessons that they really enjoyed? I like to have a better handle on the camera prior to the holidays.
TIA!
Re: DSLR Lessons?
The photog I use for our family/kiddie pictures does photography workshops.

I'm not sure when her next one is, though. I really want to do one of these but haven't had the free time.

I'm not sure if she had any scheduled for the rest of the year because of the holidays coming up but she did tell me at one point that if I could get a group together, depending on how big it was, she would totally try do fit another class in. You can sign up for her mailing list to keep informed when the classes are. Maybe we could have a Philly Nestie class if enough people were interested.
I've heard great things about the workshops at the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center, www.philaphotoarts.org.
I took a single day class with Project Basho and I thought it was a very informative class.

Thanks
Just checked out their page, and they have a 3 hour intro class that looks perfect. I'm probably going to order it next week once I figure out my schedule, and if I do, I'll pm you. If I mention your name, you get a $25 credit towards another class (if you don't mind giving out your name!).
