Daycare or preschool with extended day recs needed- Havertown or Drexel Hill preferred or off 476...
Anyone love their daycare of preschool with extended day option in Havertown or Drexel Hill? Also would consider Broomall if not too far from 476 or somewhere off of St Davids/Rt 30 exit - five minutes or less from exit? I am looking for somewhere that is more than just a babysitter. Also, flexibility is huge if it exists in regards to switching days, etc... Not a must though. This will be for a 2.5 year old or a 3 year old. Probably looking to get started once son is 3, but if opening would consider sooner. Any favorites in the area?

They do have a Bryn Mawr Cambridge School (it's at the Baldwin School) that I know is great too. It might be more like an 8-10 minute drive from 476 though. Sorry!!!
Is it in a church across the street from St. Dot's? If so, yes. I went there in '82-84 and Ms. Jeanette is the bomb. Sorry, I know this isn't helpful but I did really like it there for part time as a kid.
I don't know anything about day cares, but I know the three main preschools that people use in Havertown are St. Faith on Brookline, Manoa Presbyterian on Eagle rd and Trinity Lutheran on WC Pike.
DS is at St. Faith and we love it, it was highly recommended by a lot if my neighbors. One neighbor has her DS at Manoa and they are happy with it
