Anyone cruise out of NYC in late November?

We are debating a cruise to Bahamas leaving last week in November.  I have only cruised out of Florida or Puerto Rico.  My concern is 4 sea days and not the best weather for laying out by the pool.

If you have traveled on a similar cruise during late fall, can you tell me what you did during sea days?  What was weather/sea like?  Thanks!

sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.

Re: Anyone cruise out of NYC in late November?

  • I personally have not but have friends who had.  THey said the weather was awful and they had to stay inside until they got to Florida. :(
  • I was married New Years Eve 2010 and took a cruise out of NYC for our honeymoon.  So it was actually January that we left and returned.  Our cruise was a two week cruise but we REALLY enjoyed it alot.  We saved so much by not flying.  There is plenty to do on the ship besides layout by the pool.  Our cruise line had an indoor/outdoor pool that had a retractable dome for bad weather days.  It only took two days to get to warm enough weather to swim and lay out.  I would totally do it again.
