Survivor Philippines: 10/24 Spoilers

Wow...How crazy is Penner's team for trading a bunch of sandwiches and brownies for rice. Yikes!! I don't think that was the smartest thing to do. I am sure they could have tried some more at the challenge. Artis, from Mike's team, makes a good point as well. It was a food challenge but they have like another 25 more days in the game. I know he mentioned Mike was eating some raw rice. Ewww. It would have been interesting to see them blindside Penner tonight lol. I hope they merge the tribes next week because the individual immunity should be fun to watch. Plus there are three idols still in play. I know Abi has one, Penner and then Malcolm. It will be interesting to see if they get played or if the players get blindsided without playing them!!

I get what you're saying, but they were at a stand still for an hour. I think they should have had to re-start the challenge everytime there was no movement for at least 10 minutes or something. It was a really dumb thing to do, regardless. Also, they didn't even get a whole lot of rice out of it. I don't ever remember any other teams running out of rice this quickly is past seasons.. kind of weird. It will be interesting to see how the lack of food will effect everyone.

It would have been interesting to see them blindside Penner tonight lol.

I was hoping they would!!! He is so annoying. But his tribe was also getting on my nerves, since everyone pretty much said "I don't care" to the whole swapping-a-victory-for-rice thing, and then when they got back to the camp they acted like it was all his fault.

I am ready for Abi to go. She is like a ticking time-bomb and I can't stand her!! I am hoping Denise or Malcolm win it all!!

  • I agree, they should have had to restart play when the ball was not in motion for a certain amount of time. IMO, these tribes weren't giving it their all in the challenge. Penner was way too quick to give up and trade rice for reward. Which I couldn't believe his team agreed to do.

I really wanted Penner to go home last night. I am also hoping for Denise or Malcolm to win.

It was like a huge bunch of people laying on one another and traffic stopped lol. It was like lack of energy or motivation..Sheesh. Maybe the ball could have been made smaller by the engineers. It was not even worth the rice that was given over to the yellow tribe.

I was suprised that Penner never played his idol. He must have been pretty confident in not going home. That would have been funny if he had been blindsided with him having an idol. I remember in past seasons, James (the graveyard digger) had two and he never played them...That's what they are there for!!!

They kept saying that Mike was eating the raw rice. Maybe certain people were eating more than others. I am wondering, is there no fruit on the island?

I agree with the Abi going soon!! She has not participated in any but two challenges and is lazy. She is always raving about something and thinks people are out to get her. I hope people wise up to her and get rid of her!!

  • Oh, Survivor!  I was mad that even trading for the reward was allowed, to be honest.  I understand it was hard and at a stand still but I'm wondering if the producers realized this before they did the challenge.  Normally there are teams of people that try out the challenges before they're presented to Survivors so they had to know it'd end up that way.

I'm also SO ready for Abi to go.  Whenever she talks, I just want to scream.  She's so angry and spiteful.  I'm wondering about her comment that it wasn't "her choice" to sit out 6 of the 8 challenges so far.

I'm rooting for Malcolm or Denise..

When she said that I screamed at the TV "YOU JUST PUT YOUR HAND UP THAT YOU WOULD SIT OUT!!!" I woke up my cat and scared DH... lol

Honestly I don't think they tried very hard. I think if there had been different people on the field at the time, things would have been very different.

I think they should stick with puzzle challenges, mazes and stuff like that. Even some diving challenges or the ones that test stamina like standing on a beam or balancing stuff. This challenge sucked big time and everyone gave up so quickly!! Why didn't Jeff just have everyone start again and re-group or maybe they should have made the ball smaller and done like a one on one...

  • There was, what, one day's worth of rice left that they gave away? They got far more out of it with their reward, and with more energy intact.

I thought that the same person couldn't sit out in back-to-back challenges. When did that change?

I am wondering if back to back means like a reward and then an immunity challenge in one day? That Abi has been sitting out a lot and is not really worth anything to the tribe. She has only been in 2 out of 8 challenges. I am not sure why she is kept around. I know she has an idol but she needs to go sheesh!!

her tribe hasn't gone to tribal council yet, so they haven't even had a chance to boot her off. But sadly, I don't think they will any time soon.
