Early morning wake up call

Every morning for the past two weeks my dog has woken us up at 4:45 in the morning to go out. he is not crate trained. I dont know what to do. I am so tired. Is ten months too late to crate train a dog? If so what other options do I have? Please help I need sleep!

Re: Early morning wake up call

  • not to late to crate train. I highly recommend that but stick to it don't give in when he whined the first few nights. Also make sure you let him our right before bed and maybe pick up water over night. He is training you right now and you need to reverse the rolls.

    this... all of this...

pick the water up about an hour before you go to bed... that way he doesn't lop it up right before you put him out... that doesn't help ...
