Their regular toy selection has become non-existent in the past couple of months. My mom told me that someone else took over (whatever that means. I did find an article online from March that said they partnered with a new investor.) Though I was never a big fan of Gabes - I've been disappointed in the changes I've seen lately.

This explains a lot. They totally re-arranged everything at the Gabe's close to me and the selection has definitely decreased.

I checked out the sale on Sunday....seemed like they had a decent amount (and I had price checked a few items that I was looking for before going, and the stuff at Gabe's was cheaper in most cases). They had hot wheels wall tracks and other race track sets, a ton of Imaginext, Legos, duplos, Littlest Pet Shop, Cars merchandise, Melissa & Doug food sets and wooden puzzles. My best find of the day was Jake & the Neverland pirate stuff, which is on Jake's Christmas list, so I was excited to save some money on that!
