Raves: I got a raise that goes into effect today! Woohoo!
Rants: We'll likely be hit by hurricane Sandy on Monday, though how bad the damage will be depends on the track of the storm... but since we were without power for over a week this time last year because of the freak October snow storm, I'm just slightly paranoid and worried. I don't want to lose power for that long again :-/
Weekend Plans: We'll be visiting my parents and H's parents this weekend and bringing our furbaby in his Halloween costume... he's going to be a pumpkin
Besides that- making a trip to the grocery store to make sure we're stocked up on some items just in case the storm does hit us directly.

I am SO excited for this weekend, I'M FINALLY MOVING IN WITH MY HUBBY!!
Yes, I had to e-yell that, I am THAT excited! lol
He's coming up here today after work with his trailer to get everything loaded, then we're heading back down to OUR place Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I'm so stoked.
The only thing I'm concerned about is that we've gotten some snow this week and it's in that thaw during the day/freeze at night cycle so it's pretty icy on the roads, both where he's at and where I'm at. I don't even know what the pass over the mountains looks like, it's a lot higher elevation, and I've heard reports of snowpack on the roads so I'm a little nervous about him hauling his trailer through it. He's lived in CO most of his life though, and he's a very good driver, so I'm sure he'll be ok

Rants- I'm so tired...ugh I've been hitting snooze a LOT this week and I've almost been super late to work because of it. I'm really hoping to catch up on sleep this weekend.
Raves-We're about 90% moved out of our old office and I get to start working at our new place on Monday! I'm pretty excited about the changes going on around here...I have a lot more responsibility and I'm really loving being in charge of so much stuff!
Weekend Plans-Nothing for tomorrow (thankfully, I need to rest!) and Sunday I'm going to Salem, MA (I'm guessing you all know that Salem is known for being a "witch town") with my two MOHs and our other friend....we're going to walk around and enjoy some fall/halloween fun, I can't wait!

TGIF is right! I am SO glad this week is over!
Rants: This week at work has been TERRIBLE! I'm actually concerned about how my job might be changing, and not for the better.
Raves: I put together my grocery shopping list/our menu for the next few weeks and I'm really excited to try some new recipes! (apparently I don't have that much to be excited about)
WP: We have a friend's bday party tonight, although I'm exhausted after this week so I don't know how long we'll go for. Tomorrow H & I are both off so after I run some errands in the morning I'm hoping we'll do something fun! Then Sunday is my lazy/housework day. We haven't been home in a few weekends, so the apartment definitely needs some TLC!
Comeongetdown - YAYYYY!!! That's so exciting that you're finally moving in together!!
Rants: H has been on a business trip since Wednesday.. so I've been lonely since then, and he won't be getting home until late tonight. UGH.
Raves: Same as my Rant kind of... I get to see my H tonight
Also, I got my iPhone 5 in the mail yesterday, so I'm pretty excited to get that changed into my number (I have to wait for H because we used his upgrade - so its for his number right now!)
Weekend Plans: My SIL's baby shower is tomorrow! She's having twins - a boy and a girl
Its so exciting! After the shower we have an annual pumpkin carving contest with H's parents and siblings - except I carve a fake one because I'm allergic!
Then on Sunday, we're going to our church!
rants: H has been working his ass off this week, the only night he was home was wednesday. even had to work till 11 on my bday. cant wait for them to slow down a bit.
raves: im playin hookie from work today. all of the lawyers are out of the office so there wasnt much to do and with all my family cratp going on its wearing on me so i thought today would be a good day to take off. im gonna clean and get groceries.
weekrnd plans: having a bday party tomorrow. 2 of my girlfriends from out of town are coming. tonight were goin to a pumpkin carving part at SIL's. and sunday we'll probably just going to hang out.
Rants: What a week. Ugh. Came home from Puerto Rico late Monday/early Tuesday, and since then we've had a sick puppy (okay, he's 8.. but he's still our puppy!), an exploding toilet, and a grain moth infested house. Wednesday was spent with Todd the plumber and the Orkin man. H took the puppy to the vet yesterday because apparently he was taking lessons from the toilet.
Raves: The week is over! And it is certainly getting better already. The puppy let us sleep through the night for the first time all week, and one of my cow-orkers just won 12 items from our vending machine so I'm snacking on free peanut butter crackers
Oh, and comeongetdown gets to move in with her hubby this weekend!!

Weekend Plans: Mostly just trying to recover from the week! We have a mini-golf double date if the weather holds out planned for tomorrow. Sunday we might take my parents out for dinner to thank them for watching the pup while we were away, and I think that's about it.
I was going to make some apple crisp for my friends and their 10 week old baby, but she had an equally crazy week, I guess, so we are going to find time next week at some point for that. Assuming the hurricane isn't as bad as last year's snowstorm. Ugh, Mona, we were powerless for a week during that, also! I really hope it doesn't happen again!

Raves: It's FINALLY getting colder here!!! It's in the 50's today even though it was in the 80's yesterday. I can finally wear all my cute sweaters and winter clothes I just bought.
Rants: I really wish H would light a fire under BIL to get this paperwork finished. It's in H's name and come Dec. we are going to cancel it all and if he doesn't have it done then that's on him and it's not my problem.
Weekend Plans: Since H will be in the woods all day Sat I am going to use that time to cook and go visit FIL and Stepmom in law. Also to clean the house and finish laundry. Then Sunday H said he will be home all day so we are planning to do some work in our other bedrooms to get them more organized.
I'm hoping we can use our firepit I got last year. We got to use it a little bit last year but since I got it for Christmas we missed out on a half a season of cold weather.
Raves: I finally have a whole weekend with no school or work!
Rants: we are so broke right now that its giving me horrible anxiety...h started a new job so we have to wait a week of his pay that we need ! Ugh!
Weekend plans: so busy...tonight my cousins wedding, tomorrow baby shower for a friend and then a Halloween party...so exited me, h and other couple are going as Gillian's island and I'm ginger!
RAVES: it's FRIDAY!!!! And the love of my life is finally coming home after a week and a half of taking care of his mom after her surgery. I can't wait to get to the airport tonight!!!! ooh...and comeon is moving in with her H finally!!!
RANTS: next week our auditors are coming in and that means sooooooo much extra work for yours truly. I can already feel the stress and the swear words being muttered under my breath!
WEEKEND PLANS: hopefully just hanging out with my DH. We both need so much sleep that we may just sleep it away. I have a birthday party to go to for my cousins' 1yo, but other than that, rest (I hope!) and watching the World Series games.

RANTS: I was supposed to meet a girl in the Chick-Fil-A parking lot today to sell her my mason jars but she cancelled on me. She said she had a family emergency...I feel bad if it's true. Hopefully she really does want them and contacts me when she's back in town but I'm not holding my breath. I was so excited to finally get them sold....bummer! WEEKEND PLANS: Tonight: H and I are going to a local high school football game. Both teams are undefeated and are the two of the best high school teams in the USA so it should be fun! It is windy outside thanks to Hurricane Sandy so hopefully the breeze will make it more comfortable outside.Sat and Sun: Taking my car to get oil leak repaired (we've been putting it off for wayyy too long) and then watching more football all weekend!
