Hello Ladies
Hi everyone. Not sure if anyone remembers me, I was only on the November knot board a few times. This was due to the fact that I was originally supposed to be an Oct. wedding but had to push back due to venue forclosure at the time.
Anyway now that is almsot a year later (11/12) I thought I pop in to see what's going on.
Anyone have really good paper gift ideas or plans for the big first anniversary?

and as far as gifts go... I'm doing a year of dates. NOT like sessions, who is doing 365 dates, but I'm doing one-date-a-month already-planned.
So DH will open a big envelope that will have 12 smaller envelopes (one for each month). He cannot open the small ones until that month comes. But in each month's envelope is either cash (i.e. for things I cannot pay in advance) or a printed receipt for whatever it may be (tickets to an aquarium out of state, a Groupon for kayaking, etc.)
For November's "date" I'm buying Cirque de Soleil tickets while we're in Vegas.
I couldn't think of a good physical gift to get him, and Christmas is in December (plus Valentine's day in February and DH's birthday in March) so I'm not worried about getting an actual gift. Plus, we're really into activity-type of dates.
Anyway, I like your idea! If DH and I weren't flat broke right now, I might have stolen that idea from you, haha.

I have no idea what I'm going to do for our anniversary on the fifth. We've been really busy working on our house and getting ready for baby that it just hasn't crossed my mind. >.< I am a bad wifey.
