Stay safe

Everyone stay safe these next few days.  The weather is certainly not looking very good.

  • DH is working from home tomorrow. DD's preschool is closed and DS' music class is cancelled. We're going to just bunker down and hope that we make it through dry and without any damage, even if we do happen to lose power.

  • Yes, hope everyone makes it out unscathed!

DH's work is closed. So far daycare hasn't shut down, but I'm expecting it. I have to report (not surprising given the reputation of where I work) but I'm hopeful that if things get really bad that they'll release early. I work right on the water in Newport, so there's a lot more potential for damage there than at our house.

  • Oops. I forgot about my annual physical tomorrow morning. Calling as soon as the office opens to make sure that they're not cancelling/rescheduling me. Good thing my appointment is only a half hour after they open! Gah!

  • Hope everyone is hanging in there!  So far, we still have power as of 5:30pm on Monday... fingers crossed it continues.  Very windy and rainy, with lots of small branches down in our yard.  I can deal with that, as long as the trees all stay upright!!
