Monday Food and Fit Check in

Weekend Recap: This weekend was crazy busy, and it was my dad/uncle/cousin's birthday party at my parents house, so between eating lots of food and goodies there and my mom sending leftovers home with us, it was a bit of a bust food and excersize wise (I did try to only stick to the carrot cake and avoid the double chocolate...)

Week Food Goals: Can't go grocery shopping until thursday (after we get another paycheck) so we have nothing fresh because there needs to be enough in the account to pay morgage tomorrow, so just trying to limit amounts of what I eat vs. watching too closely what I eat.

Weekly Fit Goals: FINALLY feeling better enough to do zumba, did a short class today, and will probably do a short class weds and then a regular class friday.

Re: Monday Food and Fit Check in

  • I can't say that I've completely fallen off the wagon since the wedding because I haven't gained a lot of weight, but I haven't lost any weight either. Today I've made the decision to start unofficially doing weight watchers. It would be official but they are SO FRICKIN EXPENSIVE!! My boss just started too, so I figure now's a good time as I'll have support at work. I've also started making a ton of recipes from Skinnytaste.com. They're delicious and make me feel great and should make this easier as she already calcualtes the points. I'm hoping that once I drop some weight I'll get more energy and can start working out. But for now I'm hoping small diet changes will be a good start!

  • Weekend Recap:

Stayed within my calorie range on Friday even though we made pizza for dinner! I only had two slices and steamed veggies as a side dish so it felt more like a meal. I def wanted more pizza but happy I did not give in. On Saturday I ran 9 miles and did good eating wise...9 miles burns A LOT of calories so I wasn't too worried about what I ate because I didn't overdo it on anything. Sunday was a rest day and I did pretty good in the eating dept too. Overall, successful weekend!

    Week Food Goals:

Stay within my calorie range on myfitnesspal...except on Halloween. We are having a potluck lunch at work and then after work I am going to my friend's house to take the kids trick or treating so I know I won't be able to stay in range but I'm not going to use it as an excuse to go crazy either.

    Weekly Fit Goals:

This is my last serious week of training for my half marathon...ahh! I want to complete all my planned workouts (except on Halloween!).
